Lake Springfield Baptist Camp seeks applications from individuals or couples for the position of Property Manager(s).
Lake Springfield Baptist Camp, located on Lake Springfield between Springfield and Chatham, Illinois, is primarily a summer youth camp with outstanding facilities to offer church groups and businesses for retreats during the non-summer months.
The Camp Property Manager has five major areas of responsibility: site improvement, maintenance and upkeep; oversight of camp rentals; hiring, supervision and mentoring of summer staff; serve as the on-site public face of the camp; maintain clear and consistent communication with the Business Manager and Board of Directors. The Property Manager must be able to successfully interact with persons of all ages and all backgrounds: children, youth, volunteers, directors, donors, vendors, etc. as well as maintain a professional Christian environment for all to whom we minister. This person(s) should also be self-motivated, able to prioritize, and have excellent problem-solving skills. The successful candidate(s) should have a background in one or more of the following areas: camp management, hospitality management, customer service, farming, construction/trades, and/or ministry. Additionally, certifications of Food Service Manager, First Aid/CPR, and Lifeguard are desired and may be required as a condition of employment.
The compensation package includes housing and utilities.
